What data do we collect and for what purpose?

Personal data is automatically collected in server log files and in a statistics log. Data about the browser (type, version), the system (operating system, monitor resolution, colour depth), the referrer (previously visited page), the anonymised (shortened) IP address and the day and time of access are recorded. This information is of a purely technical nature and is used to measure the success of the offer and help to improve it. It is not possible to assign the data to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources, and the data is deleted after six months following a statistical evaluation.

Personal data is only collected via our website to the extent that you voluntarily submit it to us, for example in order to contact us or to take advantage of service offers (such as webinars or document downloads). Without your express consent, the personal data you provide will only be used for the purpose for which you provided us with your data.

Only with your express consent will your contact data be used to inform you about trends and events of SKOPOS CONNECT for the purpose of self-promotion. You can object to the use of your data for advertising purposes at any time with future effect by sending an e-mail to info[at]skopos-connect.de.

Cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. Only cookies that do not collect personal data are used. For example, we use cookies to save the format of the document in the event of a document download.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Webchat via Userlike

This website uses live chat software provided by Userlike UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Deisterweg 7, 51109 Cologne, Germany. Userlike uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable a personal conversation in the form of a real-time chat on the website with you. The information about your use and related data of the live chat are collected, stored and processed on servers of Userlike in Germany. Information on the data protection of Userlike UG (haftungsbeschränkt) can be found here.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Due to the certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyse the usage behaviour of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our website.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to our website, is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymisation function. This function enables Google to truncate the IP address within the EU or EEA.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of visits to our website and of the usage activities there. This data may also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the use of the internet.

Google states that it will not associate your IP address with any other data. In addition, Google keeps a record of your IP address at

https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners

Google also provides further information for you on data protection law, for example on the possibilities of preventing the use of data.

In addition, Google offers a website at

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Google also offers a so-called deactivation add-on together with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with the usual Internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when you call up our website. The add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information about your visit to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services. If and which other web analytics services are used by us, you will of course also find out in this privacy policy.

Deactivate Google Analytics

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts on our website to display external fonts. This is a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Due to the certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when our website is accessed.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimisation and economic operation of our website.

The connection to Google established when you call up our website enables Google to determine which website sent your request and to which IP address the display of the font is to be transmitted.

Google offers further information on the possibilities of preventing the use of data:

https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated

https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA on our website to check and prevent interactions on our website by automated access, e.g. by so-called bots. This is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Due to the certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield, Google has the following rights

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

This service enables Google to determine from which website a request is sent and from which IP address you use the so-called reCAPTCHA input box. In addition to your IP address, Google may also collect other information that is necessary for offering and guaranteeing this service.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the security of our website as well as in the defence against unwanted, automated access in the form of spam or similar.

Google offers a service at

https://policies.google.com/privacy

for further information on the general handling of your user data.

Google AdWords with Conversion-Tracking

On our website, we use the advertising component Google AdWords and the so-called conversion tracking.

We use conversion tracking for the targeted advertising of our offer. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our website.

If you click on an ad placed by Google, the conversion tracking we use saves a cookie on your terminal device. These so-called conversion cookies lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve to identify you personally.

If the cookie is still valid and you visit a specific page of our website, both we and Google can evaluate the fact that you have clicked on one of our advertisements placed with Google and that you have subsequently been redirected to our website.

Google uses the information collected in this way to create statistics for us about visits to our website. In addition, this provides us with information about the number of users who clicked on our ad(s) and about the pages of our website that were subsequently accessed. However, neither we nor third parties who also use Google AdWords are able to identify you in this way.

You can also prevent or restrict the installation of cookies using the appropriate settings in your internet browser. At the same time, you can delete cookies already stored at any time. However, the steps and measures required for this depend on the specific internet browser you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your Internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support.

Furthermore, Google also offers the following websites

https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/

http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

Google also offers further information on this topic and in particular on the possibilities of preventing the use of data.

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active

In addition, your IP address and the date and time of your registration will be stored. In the course of the further registration process, your consent to the sending of the newsletter will be obtained, the content will be described in detail and reference will be made to this data protection declaration.

The newsletter subsequently sent via The Rocket Science Group also contains a so-called tracking pixel, also known as a “web beacon”. With the help of this tracking pixel, we can evaluate whether and when you have read our newsletter and whether you have followed any links contained in the newsletter. In addition to other technical data, such as the data of your IT system and your IP address, the processed data is stored so that we can optimise our newsletter offer and respond to the wishes of our readers. The data is thus used to increase the quality and attractiveness of our newsletter offer.

The legal basis for the dispatch of the newsletter and the analysis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a.) DSGVO.

In accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 DSGVO, you can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter at any time with effect for the future. To do so, you only need to inform us of your revocation or click on the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.

Google Tag Manager

We use “Google Tag Manager” on our website, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google Tag Manager enables us as marketers to manage website tags via an interface. The Google Tag Manager tool that implements the tags is a cookie-less domain and does not itself collect any personal data. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

If SKOPOS processes data in a third country outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, this is only done insofar as it is done for the fulfilment of (pre-) contractual obligations, on the basis of your consent, on the basis of a legal obligation or on the basis of a legitimate interest of the SKOPOS company. We ensure compliance with the special requirements of Article 44 et seq. DSGVO.
